課程目標 Learning Objectives
|
|
This course aims to cover some of the basic research skills/methods required to write original papers employing outside sources, whether print or non-print. The two papers we write this term will emphasize these two orientations--an expository paper that incorporates quotation and summary from print sources, and an evaluative paper that involves non-print sources. Citation and documentation skills are therefore important, as is learning the basic methods for acquiring quality sources (databases). To this end we will learn both MLA and APA forms.
