課程目標   Learning Objectives
At the end of the course, students will be able to (1) obtain insight into the special characteristics, abilities and attitudes children bring to the classroom; (2) reflect on how teachers can learn from children and on how this information can be used in planning lessons and activities;(3)know how to adapt ideas and frameworks for teaching English to young learners; (4) acquire four theories of child development.

成績評量方式補充說明   
1. 課堂出席分數Class Attendance 20% (One-class Absenteeism without any acceptable reasons will deduct 2.5%;the eighth-class Absenteeism without any acceptable reasons will deduct 20%. Therefore, the class attendance will be 0.)
2. 課堂表現/作業 20% (Class Performance, Oral Report and Assignments 20%)
3. 模擬英文教學活動 (Mock English Teaching Activities) : 30%
4. 期中考 (Midterm Exam) 15%
5. 期末考 (Final Exam) 15%

1. Do not use illegal copies of textbooks for this course.

2. Please let your cell phone and tablet computers be turned off or be in silent mode in
class.

3. Don’t cheat in quizzes or exams, otherwise you will be punished based on school rules
and you will get 0 score for the quiz or exam.
(禁止課堂上小考及期中末考作弊,否則會依校規處罰, 成績為0分計算)
4. Please hand in assignments and reports on time. Late assignments and reports will not be
accepted, and students will receive a grade of O.

5. For mid-term exam and final exam leaves and make-up exam application, students need to
