課程目標   Learning Objectives
Objectives of the Course:
1. To develop learners’ English pronunciation skills for effective communication.
2. To cultivate learners’ good learning attitude and learning strategies that would help enhance accuracy and proficiency of spoken English.

[Note]:
This course covers important aspects of pronunciation--vowels, consonants, syllables and stress within words, linking, rhythm, and intonation. Students will be trained beyond word and phrasal levels. It is aimed at helping high-intermediate students speak English more clearly, confidently, and naturally through the use of audio recordings, diagrams or illustrations, games or interactive tasks that focus on interesting themes. Occasionally, videos will be introduced to boost learning motivation. Students are also encouraged to develop communication strategies to get their ideas across.
