課程目標 Learning Objectives
|
This course builds on previously developed writing skills, with a focus on academic essay organization and development for exam-oriented writing. Students will learn to produce clear, well-structured essays with strong introductions, logically developed body paragraphs, and effective conclusions.
The course emphasizes argument essays, problem-solution essays, and reaction essays, guiding students to present claims, analyze issues, respond critically to texts or topics, and support ideas with relevant reasons and examples. Exam-style writing tasks will be integrated throughout the course to strengthen clarity, coherence, and time-managed writing skills.
By the end of the course, students will be able to write well-organized essays that demonstrate clear stance, logical development, coherence, unity, and effective use of supporting details in both classroom and exam contexts.
