課程目標   Learning Objectives
I. Course Aims & Goals
This course aims to equip students with an understanding of the main issues in innovation management, an awareness of the key features of success, and an appreciation of the relevant skills needed to manage innovation at both strategic and operational levels. It provides evidence of different approaches based on real-world examples and experiences of leading international firms.
Thus, the goals of this class is whether you are an investor, analyst, R&D manager, engineer, entrepreneur or inventor, your success is tied to your ability to predict what's next, innovate, manage the innovation process, and enable breakthroughs to happen. Contrary to popular opinion, this is not a process of pure luck, but one in fact that can be managed to success. Enroll in this course to learn how from leading industry experts on the innovation process.
II. Course Objectives
 Learn to integrate technological considerations into business strategy and long-range planning processes
 Learn to manage new product development and introduction processes in the context of the innovation system
 Learn to evaluate return on capital for innovation projects
 Learn to manage the innovation process
 Learn to "pitch" for innovation to insure success in gaining support
 Understand discontinuous innovation and its implications
