                            | Aims of Teaching: 1.	Students can learn the knowledge of keywords in contemporary art and art history.
 2.	Students can learn how to appreciate art works through understanding the keywords.
 3.	To teach students ideas, keywords and concepts of contemporary art.
 4.	To teach students how to read, understand, and deliver oral presentations in English on topics related to visual art and design (e.g., history of art & design, contemporary art).
 5.	Students will learn how to introduce their own art works and projects. Students will also acquire these advanced learning skills through in-class tasks and homework assignments.

                                | Notes: 1. Classes: Combination of formal lectures, discussions and exercises (homework, in-class, and oral).
 2. Feedbacks: Evaluation and corrections of exams will be made available to students.
 3. Oral presentations: All students will be assigned one oral presentation at the end of the semester (PowerPoint). The presentation will be about each student’s introduction of a particular artwork/artist he or she likes. The source materials for the presentations can be from art books and/or English art websites.
 4. The contents of the lectures will be subjected to change according to students’ learning and feedbacks.
