課程目標   Learning Objectives
Electromagnetics I is a fundamental course designed to provide students with a systematic understanding of the basic principles of electromagnetic theory and their physical meaning. Through structured lectures, mathematical derivations, and problem-solving practice, students will develop the analytical skills required to describe and interpret electromagnetic phenomena using mathematical methods. The course also aims to strengthen students’ ability to connect theoretical concepts with practical engineering and scientific applications, while fostering independent problem-solving skills.
This course covers the essential topics of introduction to electromagnetics, including the role of electromagnetic theory in modern science and technology, followed by vector analysis, which provides the mathematical tools needed to represent fields in different coordinate systems. Students will then study static electric fields, including Coulomb’s law, electric field intensity, electric potential, Gauss’s law, and dielectric materials. Finally, the course introduces steady current, focusing on current density, conductivity, resistance, Ohm’s law, and basic conduction phenomena.
