課程目標 Learning Objectives
|
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1. Explain the historical and cultural contexts of Western art music in the first half of the twentieth century.
2. Identify the major stylistic and compositional features of Stravinsky, Schoenberg, Webern, and Berg.
3. Explain key developments in musical language, including atonality, twelve-tone composition, rhythmic innovation, and the use of folk-music materials.
4. Analyze representative works through listening and score study using appropriate musical terminology.
5. Develop critical listening, analytical, and scholarly communication skills in spoken and written English.
