植物生理學是一門探討植物生命現象的科學，闡釋植物各種生命現象的機制。包括植物水分的吸收和輸導、礦物營養吸收和同化、光合作用、呼吸作用、形態發育、植物荷爾蒙作用機制、逆境生理、基因表現及訊息傳導等領域。
