課程目標 Learning Objectives
|
|
教授學生將動物行為與週遭生態以演化學的角度進行觀念的連結，並了解生物個體間互動的關係與其意義。首先教授學生行為生態學的起源，並與認知心理學做一比較。再者以動物生理的限制，探討行為機制的運轉，以神經生理來說明動物對環境的感知，以及資訊的獲得與利用。行為生態學以演化為中心思想，探討生物個體各項行為或外在特徵如何存在於現今，因此適存值的概念即是個體在天擇競爭下，如何獲得優勢或被淘汰的重要指標。藉由個體的繁殖行為，與性擇下雄性誇飾特徵的演變，可以理解生物體發育時，質能分配與生物因子間的互動與平衡關係。最後再以利他行為演變的基因基礎，來探討群體乃至社會形成的原因。本課程在講演教授後，以專題報告作為學生觀察行為與分析之實作，以增進學生活學活用的能力。
