課程目標 Learning Objectives
|
In this course, you will learn how to design technologies that bring people joy, rather than frustration. Several techniques for rapidly prototyping and evaluating will be introduced. You will know why rapid prototyping and comparative evaluation are essential to excellent interaction design. For instance, you will learn the skills to make paper prototypes and low-fidelity, interactive mock-ups. The process of conducting fieldwork with people will be demonstrated to help you get design ideas. For instance, you will learn how to design evaluations to get feedback from other stakeholders like your teammates, clients, and users. Moreover, principles of visual design, principles of perception and cognition, and controlled experiments online will be introduced. In many cases, Web design will be used as the anchoring domain. A lot of the examples will come from the Web, but we'll not talk about Web technologies too much. The main goal of this course is to enable you to build human-centered design skills, so that you have the principles and methods to create excellent interfaces with any technology.
