本課程旨在從財務管理學的角度出發，介紹常用之數學模型與分析工具，培養學生運用數學方法解決財務問題之能力。內容涵蓋貨幣時間價值、利率與折現、投資評價、風險報酬分析、投資組合理論、資本預算決策及金融數據分析等主題，使學生具備跨域整合能力以應用於相關產業，並強化數學在金融市場與企業財務決策之實務應用。
