課程目標 Learning Objectives
|
This course provides an introduction to research methodologies, techniques, and practices specific to the field of Translation and Interpreting (T&I) Studies. The course covers introductory steps of academic research: from the exploration of theoretical frameworks to the design of research projects, analysis of data, and presentation of preliminary results. In this first semester of a two-semester sequence, students will produce the basics of a 10 to 15-page research paper through the drafting of the first three chapters on a topic chosen within T&I Studies. Work carried out in this course will lay the ground for the completion of a full research paper in the second semester.
