課程目標 Learning Objectives
|
The aim of this two-semester course is to produce an original research paper of at least 10 pages written in proper academic form and style (at the end of autumn semester, 2025) and presented to other members of the group. The topic will be determined by individual participants and is not limited to literary or cultural subjects. I will aid in selecting and narrowing the topic, but—let me emphasize—the general subject area is up to the writer. During the first semester, most of the in-class meetings will consist of discussions about sources, formatting and stylistic concerns, and instruction in MLA and APA style for research writing; otherwise, this course is individualized, meaning that conferences are required to discuss the planning, organization, and content of work at various stages.
