課程目標 Learning Objectives
|
As a continuation of "Translation I," the primary focus of this course is for students to engage in the translation of texts that will allow them to apply basic translation techniques they learned in the first semester and the first few weeks of this course. Students will learn to take into consideration not only sentence-level issues involved in translation but also inter-sentence and inter-paragraph components that need to be manipulated to facilitate the final completion of a text translation.
Students are expected to work individually on each assignment, although peer collaboration is encouraged while students work on drafts and revisions of their translation assignments.
