By the end of this course, students are expected to:
1. communicate personal experiences and opinions in spoken English with greater clarity and fluency.
2. participate in pair and small-group discussions by listening, responding, and maintaining interaction in English.
3. develop the ability to sustain spoken responses beyond short answers, especially when explaining ideas or sharing experiences.

Please note that ALL students are required to work in pairs/groups during the midterm exam and the final exam. There will be no exceptions made to this policy.
Since we only have 14 class meetings this semester (due to holidays), students are allowed a maximum of two absences in total, including both excused and uncexcused absences.
