課程目標 Learning Objectives
|
|
The second semester course aim is to finish an original research paper of the required length written in proper academic form and style (either in MLA or APA). Early individual conferences will lead to specific writing schedules for participants based upon work and outlines submitted in the first semester of the course. Segments of the paper will be submitted as drafts before being assembled into the final paper. At the end, participants will present their findings to other members and produce a poster summarizing the results for public display. In-class topics include material not covered in semester one, like bias, the use of figures, formatting, and introduction/conclusion strategies, as well as a review of basic procedures connected to parenthetical documentation and the works cited list.
