課程目標 Learning Objectives
|
1.教導學生學習英語不單是學習新聞英語或日常用語,文化也是學習外國語文時的一個必要學習的層面。「英國文學史」課程,便是引領學生成為一個英語文的文化人,加強其運用英語文的能力。
2.「英國文學史」主要對象是以「英語文專長」的大學生,以英國文學史為背景做有系統的主題文學及語言分析。
3.課程目標著重於對社會歷史背景、宗教、文化做分析,為了達成目標,此一課程透過英國文學中的各類文學作品協助學生瞭解文化傳統及文學史脈絡,增進學生的英文閱讀能力,培養學生賞析作品的能力。
*符合本系能力指標中"掌握基本英語教學、語言理論以及對英美文學歷史的整體概觀"
