課程目標   Learning Objectives
Effective management of organizations involves performing five basic functions: planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling. This course is designed to focus on one of these functions-the staffing, or so-called human resource management (HRM) function.
The purpose of this course is to provide students a foundation for understanding basic concepts and theoretical frameworks of HRM. Related implications to business practices are also included in the class discussions.

As students’ participation in class discussions is required and encouraged, through reading assignments, term papers, and mid-term, final exams, students should gain an appreciation for the current status of theory and practices on HRM.
