Upon completion of this course, students should be able to: Have a foundational knowledge of financial principles applicable across various disciplines, aiming to enhance shareholder value within an organization.
Understand and analyse financial statements, forecasting, leverage, working capital management, the time value of money, capital budgeting, security valuation, and capital markets.

Class Participation (15%): This refers to students' attendance and their active involvement in the learning process during class. It includes activities such as asking and answering questions, engaging in discussions, and responding to the instructor's questions.
Quiz (20%): A short assessment used to evaluate students' knowledge or understanding of a particular subject or topic based on the assigned homework. Quizzes may include multiple-choice, true/false, or short-answer questions.
Midterm Exam (30%): A closed-book, individual exam that includes both multiple-choice questions and short answer. A note sheet (two sides of an A4 paper) is allowed.
Final Exam (35%): A closed-book, individual exam with both multiple-choice questions and discussion questions. A note sheet (two sides of an A4 paper) is allowed.
