                            | This course is designed to present a general overview of the methods and procedures of research in education. Emphasis is placed on how to: 1.develop a sound understanding of the process of research in education
 2.develop the necessary skills and the knowledge to identify and utilize the results of different types of research
 3.develop the critical skills necessary to become an informed consumer of research literature
 4.plan for educational research,
 5.write a research proposal,
 6.develop the skills necessary to present research proposals and findings to peers and other professionals.

 3. Select one reference (a published journal article in English) to identify and state (in Chinese): (a) source, (b) the research question, (c) the procedures, (d) the method of analysis, and (e) the major conclusion. (Week 10)
