課程目標   Learning Objectives
Objectives of the Course:

1.To help students appreciate and internalize the verbal and non-verbal techniques reflected in the selected TED Talks in English.
2.To help students overcome potential stage fright and cultivate self-confidence in public speaking.
3.To help students develop appropriate stage manners, as well as speech styles for various topics.
4.To help students engage in cooperative learning process through all forms of discussions.
5.To help students enhance their competence in pronunciation, intonation, linking, wording, grammar, as well as various vocal expression techniques, such as, volume control, pauses, speech rate, etc.
6.To help students expand their vocabulary inventory and acquire useful English expressions.
