The speaker told us that what happened to the world’s population. He said that how world’s population changed from 1960 to the future. He not only said that world’s population history but also indicated that a concept which the traditional analogy like “develop country” to distinguish to world was already unsuitable. The speaker gave us a new view that the gap from industrial countries and develop countries was shortened. The global population will increase between industrial countries’ population and develop countries’ population. That is the reason why that speaker points out that traditional analogy is not suitable. He also predicts that population will increase. However, if people raise the rate of child survival will stop population growth.

This topic has talked since I was student. No matter you were in the school or in other places, you most hear something about that the distance between the poorest and the richest has separated far away in rapidly way. In addition, the world population has noticed in recently year as well. Notwithstanding we all know how importance the problems are and hear many ways try to conquer it, this speaker in the lecture is the first person that telling us the way to stop population growth is to get improved child survival. I am truly shocked by this conclusion, and I believe this will take me in the different view to face the severe problems.

At the beginning, the speaker used era to separate how the industrialized world and the developing world have be going. Although the industrialized world and the developing world have pursued the economic growth in recently year, the distance between poor and rich is wider than ever. That because the poorest of two billion population in the world we don’t assist them. We seldom care about them, and put the problems there even let them worse. Surely, after listening to the lecture, the developed countries should take the problems seriously, the developed countries should let the poorest of two billion populations know how to improve child survival. In the same time, they could make the world better with green technology, with investments to alleviate poverty, and with good global governance,just like speaker said.

The speaker talked about how world population has changed from that year and into the future. Also we know that the world population had become three billion people in 1960. But now, the world population has already been seventy billion people. What a huge growth.

From the speech, we can know that there is no longer any gap which the world we have today. But the distance from the very poorest to the very richest is wider then ever.

The speaker also mentioned that the only way of really getting world population growth to stop is to continue to improve child survival to 90 percent. Why do the investments by Gates Foundation and other organizations in the poorest countries? Because they are reaching a sustainable population size of the world. Also the child survival is just like the new green technology. Maybe we can have the sustainable world under the green technology.

The speaker considered that the global population growth result from the uneven distribution of wealth.For example,the west haVe small families and are healthy,educated and rich.On the contrary,in the developing world,their aspiration of average family was to have food for the day.There is no doubt that there is a gap between the west and the rest.
However,in the last several years,some countries have become emerging economies such as China and Japan.People there have gotten out of poverty and well educated.Moreover,the speaker pointed out that only by child survival will we stop population growth.
In conclution,the global population growth result in severe climate change and the lack for energy.Therefore,it is necessary for us to stop population growth.Inaddition,we have to think highly of sustainable development and invest the right green technology.

The world's population has been changing. And Hans Rosling described that how population changed from 1960 to the future. The speaker told us the beginning of 1960 the gap between industrial and developing countries, and the most obvious is the way of life. For example, industrial countries sought to buy a car but developing countries sought to buy shoes. What a great gap it is.
But now the world's population has been very much crowded. If do not control the population people who live in poverty will be more hardship. The speaker points that we should be to improve the rate of children survival and then population will stop growing. This will not only reduce the wealth gap also control the situation of the population explosion.

Global population growth, seem like a tiny thing, but it influences our life gradually. Population will arise problems of food, environment and so on.

The major reason of fast and numerous increase of population is people isn't well-educated and birth control plans. As Hans Rosling said, we need to invest soap, hygiene, education, vaccination and penicillin. And then family planning. Family size is decreasing that will minimize the size of population. Therefore, the pressure of global population growth will toward mitigating.

So, in my opinion, some western countries and foundations invariably supply developmental countries money and food not to provide practical knowledge of birth control, hygiene systems, educated institutions, it's not wise way to help them.

Thus, I hope developed countries can use the right ways to make this world better and moderate, just like the speaker said.

This speaker of lecture must have high skill of presentation, his way of presentation was an impressive show, I was admire his ability in lecture very much.

Let me return to the subject to talk about problem of population. On the one hand, the plenty of population are good for workplace and talented economy, it might be the cash cow to country ; on the other hand, enormous population are damaging to environment and resource consumption. However, it is worse hurtful in developing countries than the west as low education, health care, technology and equipment. What should we do to improve on such living conditions? In view of mine, this is a responsibility to every person around the world. We should gather power of everybody for resolving this damage. Because we all live in the world and should be treated and obtained equal resource and right from this world. We living in a global village, whatever the problem broke out, it must affect all the countries.

The global population structure should become as the speaker said in the future. If the global population devolope like the speaker had portrayed,the global population will make a balance in the future. In other words, the global population will not unceasingly grow up to threat to human who live in a limited-resoure earth. Moreover,there is no one living in a life for fighting to eat. However,it's all of projection that the speaker projected. We don't know what if it would not play by his roles the global population structure may develope. Simply,the future is that we can not predict. Therefore,the structure may be the best genre for the global population in the future and all we need to do is do our best to make it become possible .

Today, the world's population is growing at an alarming rate. If we don’t avoid severe climate change, and energy can still be relatively expensive -- then we will not go on sustainable development. We will face energy depletion and global climate change that humans will be difficult to survive.

According to population and economic growth now means there will be increasing the wealth gap. The rich get richer, the poor more poor. Like undeveloped countries, they are still struggling for food and shoes, they are still almost as poor as they were 50 years ago. These undeveloped countries’ population is still growing rapidly. The role of the old West in the new world is to become the foundation of the modern world. Help these undeveloped countries reduce the rate of population growth. So that humans can continue to survive forever.

The global population growth has become a significant crisis in highly developmental world. Global populations grow rapidly, but the human’s living space is not increase. That cause people’s living surrounding are more and more crowded. But according to Hans Rosling’s perspective, highly development can slow down the global population growth. The perspective is so fresh that I never thought before. Hans Rosling says when global world are highly developing, the poor countries’ child survival percentage may increase, and the birthrate also can decrease, and then global population growth can slow down. That is a fantastic idea. We should help the poor country to improve their economy and living environment. That’s why many international organizations execute humanitarian aid to help the developing countries and poorest countries. The purpose not only helps the countries to develop, but slow down the global population growth. Therefore humans can continue to survive forever.

The world's population will grow to 9 billion over the next 50 years and only by raising the living standards of the poorest can we check population growth. This is the paradoxical answer that Hans Rosling unveils at TED using colorful new data display technology. In Hans Rosling’s hands, data sings. Global trends in health and economics come to vivid life. And the big picture of global development with some surprisingly good news snaps into sharp focus.
So the only way of really getting world population growth to stop is to continue to improve child survival to 90 percent. That's why investments by Gates Foundation, UNICEF and aid organizations, together with national government in the poorest countries, are so good. We can stop at nine billion if we do the right things.

The main idea of this speech is increasing the child survival rate, because it is the way to stop population growth. Unfortunately, the speaker was not go deep into this idea. He didn’t mention the detailed steps.

I was very impressed by the gap of the west and the rest. The clear distance between shoes and plane made me feel down. When I prepare to take a exam for public servant, there are millions of people can’t afford to buy their meals, not mention of chance to take a exam. The extreme disparity between the rich and the poor is a big problem in this generation. The rich is exploiting the poor by the internationalization. This situation makes the poor hard to promote their life. But to me, I feel sorry that I don’t know what I can do to change this fact.

According to Hans Rosling’s speech, I agree with him very much. In the future, the world's population will explode. I think this is a very serious problem. It should be noticed by all over the world. How do we solve this problem? Only by raising the living standards of the poorest can we check population growth. Otherwise, population growth may grow up rapidly by the expansion of the poverty gap. But in Taiwan, the poverty gap is 75 times. What an amazing statistics. It forms "one Taiwan, two of the world." Maybe Taiwan is a special example. No matter how, population explosion is an issue should be taken seriously. Maybe global governance is a way.

Global population growth has increased quickly for forty years. As speaker said, the west world and the developing world have already no differences in recent years. But , our mindset doesn’t improve, and this is a big trouble. Indeed, if we want control global population growth effectively, we should help poor world.



There are three main solution, including developed countries need to subside poor world to develop their education, economic and promote living standard. By education, people understand practice birth controls’ important. Developing economic increased people to break environment and promoting living standard to increase child livability. Therefore, we can control global population growth effectively.

The world used to distinguished Western and Developing countries, when it comes to what happened between them and when did it happened, we may think about whose money be picked up more or who is the leader in the world. In 1960, Western became the mainly culture and made the other countries follow them, technology, life, or education, We know almost the most top university are located in Western, that’s I want to refer to, the word Resources. I know, you will always advance the other, if you control the more resources. I don’t want to refer to the speaker’s point Natality which caused poor and rich, I just convince that who get resources more who get the authority to say everything they want to say. So the conclusion is whatever the one billion people or the other 20 billion people face their fact in their aspiration, the world will never stop to wait anyone, only who knows to cherish the resources they have so that get the suitable life they want.
