Feeling or Comments on Fri's Lecture（100 words）  
Many students mentioned that they enrol the PAM programme because they plan to be a staff in public sector. However, is that the true desire in ur mind? Do u have passion with that? What is ur dream? Are u satisfied with ur life and goal so far? Can u really understand yourself? Really know who u are? And what would u like to be? Where would u like to go? Can you find out bravery to overcome ur physical and mental inertia if u are not satisfied with ur life? The questions stated above should be answered by yourself in campus life.

Pls submit ur thinking or comments on Fri’s lecture and think more about what the difference is between u and the speaker.

My feeling of lecture：
If I were her, I would make the same decision like her.

It’s so cool to travel varied countries without any assistance of journey agent or fellow. She is truly a heroine in my mind. From this unusual experience, I agreed her opinions, she learned lots of things and knowledge that couldn’t receive from normal education system in Taiwan. For example, she learned how to adopt different culture, how to work with other teenagers from different countries, how to handle emergencies by herself and got more extensive perceptions. Certainly, the most important, she had found what she wants, what aim is she wants to achieve.

I didn’t regret attending this lecture at all. I was fascinated with her courage and behavior, I was hard to forget after I leaved the hall. She spirited me up. My ordinary life is not my dream life ethier. The day with goals, with excitements, with challenges and unforgettable memories is just I want.

Hopefully, I can do anything that I like and have no hesitations anymore. Just do it! Life is short and we should grasp every chance.

After the speech last Friday, I think that speaker is really brave. If I were her, I would not have courage to make same decision. I know it’s really cool to be a backpacker. But we often think too much then we hang a leg.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
Speaker learns a lot in her tour. In her journey, she experiences different culture and learns to respect different culture. She knows that makes money very hard. She expends her horizon. She also learns that the journey might happen not only happy thing but sad thing.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
Do I have enough courage to change my life and come it true if I am not satisfied with our life? This question sometimes appears in my mind after I listened the speech. Now I can tell you that I still don't know, but if I have chance that I would try.

Before I attended the speech, I have received all kinds of experiences of traveling from the TV programs. By the way, traveling around the world is most people’s dreams, including me. “In order to make anything a reality, you have to dream about it first.” And the speaker already realized it.
From this speech, I think she is full of adventure, energy and courage. With support of her parents and friends, she could travel around the world to her heart’s content. Also, she mentioned that communicating with parents by writing letters was really useful.
During the journey, she recorded everything on postcards then send them to her family. To me, I also enjoy receiving postcards from different regions.

　I think that most of students are envy at the way she live to her life. And they have try to do something to change the situation around themself. However they may be success in the beginning,they can not keep going on what they think in the future. They may be become to face the music to some reality problems on them. Like there is not enough of money for me to go to global traveling,my parent won't agree at such crazy idea,my language is not good enough to live at other country alone are the simple problems evevyboby who want to have an exciting adventure has to become to deal　with.
　
　I think she gets the chance to speak to us because of being a successful person from most of us. When she becomes to realize that going to the college is not exactily what she wnats,she just makes a decision to go having a working holiday. Her brave is very charming. I hope one day that I can live my life in my own style!!!

The lecture is better than other similar lectures in my university. At the last of speech, the parents of speaker said no matter what the things you want to do, at least you should get your parents support. And just like we see, if the speaker didn’t get her parents support, the speech couldn’t be excellent as we saw.

She said it took one and a half year to travel and cost almost one million NT dollars. But I think no matter what many dollars she cost or how much time she took, the most important is her determination. And so lucky is she that her determination didn’t let her disappoint. The speaker said she learned so many things. Like she learned that every position has its dignity, everyone should have specialty, being forced to receive other cultures, and opening her mind. She also said it was worthy of making other countries friends in her trip.

Although I almost know what she learned before speech. But maybe she went to other places that many people didn’t want to go. And describe her trip so detailed. That is reason why I think her speech is excellent.

I don’t have courage that traveling by myself like the lecturer. Traveling round the world alone faces a lot of difficulties, especially in the country with obstructed language. And all of things should solve by self.

Lecturer shares her experience of travel in this speech. I envy that can travel round the world, because it can go sightseeing many countries. However, traveling alone is not an easy thing. She is brave and enjoys this travel.

In this speech, I impress that lecturer visit her friend in Chile. Her friend’s mother says “Mi Casa Tu Casa” to her. That sentence means “making yourself at home”. I feel very familiar because it is enthusiasm to a person who travels alone. Also I hear many interesting experience and learn more things about traveling in this speech.

Traveling round the world can learn a lot of different culture, know many kinds of people, and appreciate to the scenery of the foreign countries. But traveling alone is not easy and faces with many challenges. Lecturer’s brave spirit is worth to learn. Also she finds her goal of the life by traveling. After this speech I think about my target and dream. I hope I can have courage to attend my dream. Let my life be very excellent.

That’s a wonderful speech. I saw the speaker as a braver because she traveled the world alone. If I wear speaker, I would not make the same decision like her because that’s a difficult choice for me to decide. I still remembered that my friends and I had ever planed to take a trip to New Zealand after we graduated from college. However, we all must face the reality that we have many difficulties like money. I could not but consider so many things just because I could not handle it. That’s crazy and excited for me to take a trip to the country that I had no ideas. Because of this, that’s why I thought speaker were very brave. If I was brave like her, I thought I would travel the world alone just like her.

Dear all,

If you have chance to study abroad, you will learn much from your foreign friends and experience what “culture shock” is. The best way to facilitate mutual understanding and respect is to experience different “life style and habit” from those friends. For instance, I went to bar to join the social life of UK people when I studied in Nottingham. Although I was shy and didn’t join them frequently, that made me know bear is quite important for UK’s social interaction and what dose bar look like in the UK. I also had chance to eat the food cooked by my classmates from multiple countries. You will find out that the most delicious food around the world is Chinese food. All memories are unforgettable and the friendship is one of the most important treasures in my life.

I am very glad that you can learn something from the lecture. Some of you mentioned the speaker is brave and some want to make the same decision to travel around the world. My suggestion for this matter is that the speaker’s way is not suitable for all of you. In campus life, the university provides many scholarship or opportunities for the students attempting to apply for short term exchange student or other ways to study abroad. It is not only safer but also cheaper than the speaker’s way. Maybe all of you can consider the ways which I mentioned above and check related information with Ms.何 in our department.

Some people may think that the third-year student is too late to plan to study abroad. In my opinion, don’t worry about it and you have to grasp and take advantage of the resource at university when you still study in the NUTN. A short term study abroad experience doesn’t obstruct your plan to apply mater programme or take the examination of public servant, but it might expand your worldview and change your whole life since you experienced it. You might have more appropriate experience to know what you would like to be and where you want to go for your future. That is what I expect you can learn from this lecture and welcome you talk with me if you have the attempt to study abroad or apply any funding for short term exchange.

The speech encouraged me a lot. The most of time, I thought, the reason that makes us can’t achieved our goals or dreams is not because we don’t have enough resources or abilities, but because we don’t have enough courage!!! The speaker is a brave girl. She bargained with conservative families; worked alone for money abroad for half an year , and travelled through so many countries without any help from travel companies－some of the countries are not so safe as we thought they should be. Again and again, she demonstrated her bravery, and received so many precious experiences at last.
Though I don’t have so strong will for travelling around the world, I still have my own dream. I want to be a poet, a job often thought to be ”die of hunger”. Both of my parents want me to find a “normal job” for living in a steady life. I’m neither depressed nor surprised about their answer. “The brick walls are there for a reason.” said Randy Pausch. Instead of breaking the walls like the speaker, I’m going to detour－I won’t give up.

What a brave girl!That's what I want to tell to her.In order to find out her own life direction,to travel around the world,I consider it's really worthy.This experience is valuable.To work at unamiliar nation,to be acquaint with foreign friends,to experience different cultures,to deeply understand folks and so on.Especially,she was complete the all tour on her own.It's admirable.However,in addition to her brave heart and spirit,her family's support is the best source of encouraging.Sometimes the family play an important role.Just do it! How many people can really achieve it? Her spirit inspired me.I think she is true,sometimes if you don't grasp the timing,impulse and passion,the chance to make own grow up or to complete some special goal will leave you away.I also have the dream about traveling the world,but it still difficult to me.I want unless when my own ability is enough,I won't try this.But a smaller dream is raising in my mind.That is to ride my own motorcycle to around Taiwan.I wish I can dreams come true one day.I must catch any chances to do it.

Love, courage, hope are the elements which supported the brave girl who had been traveled around the world, she is” Ching-chun Chen”.
I admire for her determination, and envy her experience in her life. If I have a chance which like her, I guess I still feel afraid of crossing the first step about these things she have been done, including both Visited the whole world and shared her journey with so many people.
However, nobody is inherent in these elements that support you realize everything which you desire, embracing ” Ching-chun Chen”. She may through continuous effort and practice , or convincing of her family and so on. The really valuable elements we should learn from her is her spirit that would never giving up!

When I know the title of the speech, I am shocked. Because she has been traveled around the world by herself since she was very young. Traveling around the world must be everyone dreams. And I am no exception. But I don't have courage to go to tour alone. I admire speaker for her bravery.
The speaker told that if you can speak local language it can bring great benefits. So learning a various of language is important. Another thing is that if you want to travel, you must have time, money and energy. Most importantly of all, you must to seek your parents support. But I don't have enough money now. So what I can do is save money. I wish someday I have a firm belief to travel by myself. Under the premise, I need to seek my parents support.

To my opinion,life is the most important premise in the world. And be safe is the second. Although I agree with her that we really can learn a lot from traveling,I worry about the huge uncertainty on the other hand.

It is a good way to realize the world and yourself by traveling. The graceful labdscapes,the peculiar culture,and the unfamiliar way to get alone with people,all of these experience are so marvelous that stimulate we to think. We may find out the answer or direction of life when travel.

There are many advantages of traveling. However,why I didn’t take any action and think about it conscientious? As far as I am concerned,I am used to staying in the safe area,losing adventure while time goes by. A fundamental element to travel abroad like her is impulse. You have to brave to go without any hesitation,but it is almost impossible to me to lose my head.

..….the atmosphere is like ‘’pessimistic ghost up body’’…….

Ok, return to the subject,the speech helped me to see clearly of my duty. I have no brave to travel like her,but I can do other things. The point is to find it out. For example,studying English harder,keep exercise to make body health,training not only solid power but also aoft power,building up a global view,etc. after all,all roads lead to Roma.
